Rev. Peter Poulter of the United Reformed Church, moderator when Husband was arrested as minister for two churches in Gateshead tyne & wear. Cromer Ave & Brighton Road.
He said he wasn’t aware of Husbands past even though when we received the files for Husband’s work record, on the very top was four pieces of paper dated 1967 these documents were telling anyone who employed this man that he had been arrested for importing illegal pornography.

Janet Tuner went to a meeting with one of the victims of Husband to hear Peter Poulter say “Don’t some of these victims ask for what they get?” Janet said: You can’t say that. Although quite
sympathetic Janet still left the meeting without any real progress as to wether or not the United Reformed Church knew about Husbands past at Medomsley. Police told the victims that there were victims from his time at the church.
United reformed church’s where Husband worked for 10 years even when his employment record must have been looked at by both church’s where it clearly shows that
he had been arrested for the importation of child porn from abroad direct into the youth centre he had worked at as a senior officer. more
